How do the photographers out there promote themselves to get furthur clients - web site, networking, fliers, adverts. What works for you and why? Most of my work comes via tinternet and word of mouth. I do go to networking events, but they always seem full of bankers (no pun intended). I don't shoot weddings, just commercial work, but could do with more work per month? Thoughts please!

Hi Andrew,
I am trying this, he was going to come to see me last week, but two of his other appointments pulled out, so I was cancelled. I am hoping to get another meeting this next fornight. I will let you know how it goes.

Wow - small world: I'm seeing this guy next week too. Looks quite interesting although it seems quite a lot of areas have gone already and from the initial chat I've had with him they look to launch in a few weeks time. I'll let you guys know how I get on too.

Not my scene, folks, but being active in school photography sounds like a good opportunity to distribute flyers, etc. for other types of work. Perhaps you could even get a mention on the school website and, if it included a weblink, that could be picked up by Google.
