I try to do as little as possible to my images simply because my Photoshop skills are poor! Apart from being lousy at using the clone tool and ending up using the patch tool, I need to know the following please. If you use the patch tool, can this be noticed when the image is interpolated using genuine fractels? Thanks Andrea

Genuine Fractals reproduces whatever is in the original image. View your image at 200% in Photoshop, and if it looks OK, then there is a good chance it will still look good once enlarged with Genuine Fractals.

Thanks Paul, next question! Without Genuine Fractals what is the best way to achieve an A3 image at 300 resolution? (Or is 250 okay?) I have a book which tells me to use incremental increases in percentages and another one that says don't. I have A3 printer but would prefer not to waste alot of ink! Advice appreciated. Andrea

I would use incremental increases of 10% until you reach the required size. Keep the image at 300 DPI.

Hi Andrea,
If you have any problems, FTP the picture to me, I'll resize it for you, and then you can FTP it back down again.
Clever these pooters arn't they?

Hi Paul,
Thanks. Yes they're brilliant - when you know what you're doing with them. Thought I'd get around to giving the forum a go - but I seem to be on my own here! Andrea

We don't get too many folks in the forum. Occasionally it gets busier.
Harold usually pops in every few days, to see what is new.
